Not very punk, but very necessary!
Oh yeah! A Cuban poster with a Communist Russia soldier waving their flag on the head of Hitler. WIN, WIN, WIN!!
Unfortunately I’m an ass and I have no idea where I found this. The image was stripped of all info.
Mmmmmm, this is nice. Love the typo choices. Check out the rest of this series and her work.
Big-assed Clarendons holdin’ it down. It’s hard to make serifs look this modern and battle the Helveticas and Futuras and other sans-serifs usually used. What’s crazy about this poster is the span of design covered here. There’s obviously some Swiss grid elements holding things together, but then you have the random shapes that recall turn of the century (like that?) rave flyers with the graffiti element jammed on top of it.
Turn of the century rave flyers. That just doesn’t sound right.
Screenshot of one of the greatest movies of all ****ing time! If you like the 80’s, well, like the seedier counter-culture side of the 80’s then Thrashin’ is the movie is for you. I started skating in ‘83 so I was immersed in all this drama daily. I had the girlfriend from Indiana whose brother was the evil punk-rock leader of the rival skate gang who can do flips off the side of trucks and wears eyeliner but has a heart at the end and walks off with the chick from Twin Peaks. I loved the 80’s.
So *THIS* is where all the electro design trends come from. Wow, they’re all here: space theme, garish colors, future grids, future pyramids, future naked lady with a future keyboard, and future gloves. Oh, and sparkly stars. ELECTRO!
Hydro74 killing it. Check out his Krop portfolio.
Yeah, another Network Osaka joint. And yeah, it’s nice.
